Porta 6 Red Wine
Porta 6 Red Wine is a wonderful inexpensive wine produced by Vidigal Wines in Portugal. Made from the grape varieties of Aragonez, Castelao and Touriga Nacional, this wine is ruby red in colour with warm flavours of red fruits, berries and dry fruits combined with aromas of violets and touches of spice.
Perfect for any occasion, Porta 6 Red Wine goes well with white meat, roasts, pasta dishes and intense flavoured cheeses and should ideally be served at a temperature of 16-18 degrees.
Vidigal Wines is a medium sized, family run business that produces fabulous Still and Dessert Wines.
Located near the city of Leiria in the centre of Portugal, Vidigal was first established at the beginning of the 20th Century in a winery that was originally founded by a church canon. Since its origin it has had several owners and was purchased by its current Managing Director Antonio Mendes Lopes in the 90’s. With current technological advancements and superb managing it currently produces over 3 million bottles of fantastic wine each year which includes Porta 6 Red.
